Us:
we met in new york city, 2001. we ran around together for awhile and fell in love on a cross country road trip to LA. adam was beginning the masters program in art at CalArts and i stayed behind working in the crazy industry that is fashion. after multiple trips back and forth, i decided to follow. together we lived on a hilltop looking out over the hollywood hills. like a dream, we got married under the brooklyn bridge. eventually, we got tired of constant sunshine and warm weather of los angeles and we moved back to new york to set up shop in brooklyn. we love the change of the seasons, rain, clouds, hardwood floors and brick walls. we believe in the woody allen version of new york.
Amy:
amy grew up in western massachusetts watching old movies, hunting for vintage treasures, reading anais nin, and designing clothes. she obsesses over food, hates the word melancholy, prefers cake to cupcakes, drinks old man drinks, hasn't eaten meat in over 15 years, can be obsessively nostalgic, loves 80's hair bands, and dreams of moving to the country.
Adam:
adam grew up in new haven, ct. he does art, teaches art, does design, teaches design, takes photographs, doesn't eat meat, does anxiety, laughs too loud and drinks too much, can almost always be found reading either the new yorker or the new york times, likes the english premier league, art with text in it, and punk. would rather stay in the city.
